Sourdough Basics Course

Easily our most popular and sought after classes! We typically have a waitlist for this class, which is currently closed due to high demand, but you can subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to know when the waitlist opens back up!

This class is great for beginners-intermediate level! You will be learning how to cultivate wild yeast and create your own live yeast culture; how to make, shape, and bake the loaves; and get to enjoy the bread by the end of the class! You’ll see the dough in various stages and learn the ins and outs of sourdough by the end of the 4-hour session!

You will learn…

  • how to make sourdough (a three day

  • process, start to finish in 4 hours)

  • how to properly scale, mix, shape, score, and bake the bread

  • information about yeast, flour, and the science of both

  • how to cultivate and keep wild culture, variations of the process of both, and much more!

  • an amount of knowledge and training that typically takes months to learn

You will leave with…

  • a packet of information (including a list of common mistakes of bread making and how to solve them)

  • two baked loaves (although one may be partially eaten!) and one unbaked dough for you to bake at home

  • the knowledge and skills to make a beautiful load of sourdough!

  • a couche, bench scraper, and lame to use for future loaves!

Sandwich Loaf class

This class is great for beginners and is a very great start to your bread-making journey!

Learn how to make a classic sandwich loaf to enjoy at home!

This class covers the basics of mixing, proofing, shaping and baking bread! You’ll leave with dough to bake at home and a loaf that you bake in class, as well as the recipe and knowledge you learn.

Sourdough Pizza Dough Class

A new class to our roster, but one we’re expecting to be very popular and very fun for everyone!


This class is best for intermediate learners (ie. basic bread making knowledge), but fine for anyone! You will learn the basics of mixing dough (watching chef Julia demo) shaping pizza and various ways to bake it! Not to mention... we'll be eating yummy pizza during the class!

You will leave the class with the knowledge of how to make a pizza start to finish and hopefully the confidence to practice at home. You will also leave the course with pizza dough, the recipe, and any scraps that we manage to not eat! There will be glasses of wine available for purchase for anyone interested.
